Vishal Singh – son of an Army person, an international player and a sailing coach, born on June 8th 2000 is an ambitious Indian sailor. He started sailing at the juvenile age of 10 in the Optimist class and has come a very long way to sailing in the 49er class of Indian Army since then. Vishal, a finance graduate from Symbiosis College, Pune has achieved stellar results in sailing like overall 3rd rank in SSL Gold Cup 2022, 5th position in Senior National and 4th position in Sail India. Currently, he plays the role of midbow in the SSL boat, taking care of all the ropes and helps the bowman while hoisting the ginegar. With his dedication and hard work, he continues to improve his skillset and aims for higher goals in his sailing career.
